NAMI Juneau relies on its membership and their generous support to continue its work providing no-cost classes, support groups, community presentations and advocacy programs for the Juneau community. Dues, payable annually, include membership to NAMI Juneau, NAMI Alaska and NAMI national. Together, we are united in building a future of hope and recovery for all people whose lives have been touched by mental illness.

What does membership cost? 

Become a NAMI member at all three levels of the organization—national, state and local—with one payment! We have three membership rates depending on what makes the most sense for you:

Household - $60 annual dues

• For family members living at the same address

Individual - $40 annual dues

• Standard membership for one person 

Open door - $5 annual dues

• For individuals experiencing financial constraints

What does membership include? 

NAMI members receive benefits at the local, state, and national level and include:

• A subscription to The Advocate, NAMI's quarterly magazine plus optional email subscriptions for more focused newsletters on mental health, research, policy, and news.

• Eligibility to vote in all local and national NAMI elections

• Member discounts on brochures, videos, promotional items and registration at NAMI's Annual Convention.

• Access to exclusive members-only material including discussion groups and information on current research and advocacy at www.nami.org

• Discounted rates for continuing education units (CEUs)at NAMI Juneau's Inside Passages forums.
