Become a Peer Support Specialist

Peer Support Specialists are a critical resource in the mental health and substance use recovery process. 

NAMI Juneau is pleased to be able to offer in-person Peer Support Specialist training programs.

Click here to register for the April Class! Program details:

  • Attend 5 days of in-person classes from 9am-4pm, April 10th-14th

  • Location is the ground floor conference room of the Teal Street Center (8711 Teal Street Juneau, AK)

  • 12 hours of self-directed videos or watch as a group

  • Submit an application to the State after completion of the course.  We will pay for the application fee and help you with your application

 

Please note: This certification is available to anyone in recovery from substance use or mental illness.
